Born into a family of artists in France, Fran Gentile has known art her entire life. As a gifted impressionist oil painter, she has been strongly influenced by her great grandfather and the scenery and landscapes she observed living in many countries throughout her life. Now residing in Fairhope, Fran spends a majority of her time in her studio or out plein air painting with the Plein Air Painters of Fairhope. Her work is featured at Hello Gallery in Fairhope, Ashland Gallery in Mobile and The Coastal Art Center in Orange Beach as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
