Growing up along the Gulf Coast, Robin Gentry found endless inspiration
in the wildlife, waterways, and weathered structures that define the
region. Today, he is an Alabama based watercolor artist, channeling his
experiences into watercolor paintings that celebrate fish, wildlife, and old
buildings with luminous color and expressive movement. Robin studied
art at Mississippi State University and later continued his training in
Dallas, Texas, developing a style defined by fluid movement, vibrant
color, and luminous washes. Watercolor remains his medium of choice,
allowing him to portray subjects with an expressive looseness that
reflects the energy of the outdoors.
